SUMMER CONCERT SERIES OFFICIALLY KICKS OFF JUNE 10TH

It seems like Spring has finally arrived and with Summer just around the corner, music is coming to the Village of Hamburg!  This year's Summer Concert Series in the Park will officially kick off on Wednesday, June 10th with the Buffalo Wind Symphony, formerly the Buffalo Niagara Concert Band.  The Summer Concerts are held every Wednesday evening in Memorial Park from 7-9 p.m. through August 12th.  We expect to have a little pomp and circumstance for a number of our concerts this summer, in recognition and celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States of America.  That includes the Buffalo Wind Symphony.  We are looking forward to the celebration and hope you will join us for some great family-friendly entertainment on Wednesday evenings.  Click the title above for a the concert schedule and a listing of the sponsors.

SPRING 2026 YARD WASTE COLLECTION

Beginning March 30, 2026 (weather permitting), leaves and yard waste (clippings, weeds, flowers, etc.) should preferably be placed on the ground at the curb for spring collection (never in bags, not in your tote and not in the street; no rocks or dirt) by the leaf vacuum.  While we strive to pick up yard waste on your regular garbage day, this schedule cannot always be adhered to depending on volume.   Leave it at the curb - it will be picked up.   REMINDER - The Village does not pick up grass/grass clippings.  Larger branches/limbs are for brush pickup which always starts the last Monday of the month (does not have to be a full week).  Later in the season we would request that yard waste be placed in containers (please check the website or call Public Works at 716-649-4953 for updates).

RETREE HAMBURG

The effort to ReTree Hamburg is ongoing, as this volunteer group continues to work with the Village to reestablish the beautiful tree canopy/streetscape that Hamburg has always been known for.  Residents and businesses can assist in this effort by purchasing a tree for planting in fall 2026.  Click the 'ReTree Hamburg' link above for additional information or to place your order.
